Athens Art Attack is here to get young people to make art, make friends and make a mess! 

Join the fun with a one-off visit or come back again and again!

Every Saturday there will be a planned activity as well as space for kids who just want to express their creativity their own way. Starting at 9am and running until midday, participants can stay the whole time or just come for a while.

For just €5 per child per session we provide all the art supplies as well as a drink and a snack. If you are attending one of our fitness classes at the same time as Art Attack then your child attends for free!

This December we want to have an exhibition in our gallery to show the world the creations of our Art Attackers, each piece will be hung with information about the artist and the piece and we will have an opening event where each artists can talk about their work and show what they have made to their friends and family.

Art is excellent for children because it accelerates cognitive, emotional and motor skill development while providing a healthy outlet for self expression. Engaging in creative activities rewires the developing brain, fostering critical thinking and resilience.

Motor Skills: Grasping paintbrushes, cutting with scissors, and drawing with crayons refine fine motor coordination and muscle control.

Cognitive Growth: Mixing colors, experimenting with materials, and planning a project teach cause-and-effect and spatial awareness.

Language Reinforcement: Discussing their artwork helps children learn descriptive words, shapes, colors, and spatial terms.

Academic Success: Studies link regular art participation to stronger problem-solving abilities and higher academic achievement.
